Professional Interests

I provide advice and support for development of web sites and conferencing facilities for teaching, research and promotional purposes.

My main interest lie in the development of IT based teaching materials and the development of multimedia and web applications in educational settings. I am also interested in Web 2.0 applications and their implications for learning and the dissemination of research.

Other Interests and Hobbies

I enjoy walking and climbing in my spare time. I am attempting to climb all the Munros and have climbed more than 170 at the time of writing. View my photos on Flickr of trip to the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru in 2006.
