IAS Workshop - Metatheorising the Knowledge Based Economy

Date: 5-6 July 2006 Time: 10.30 am

Whilst many of the workshops in this year's programme focused upon empirical, political, and theoretical issues thrown up around the Knowledge Based Economy, this one specifically addressed meta-theoretical issues, reflecting upon the ontological, epistemological, and other metaphysical presuppositions that underlie many of the empirical, political, and theoretical and claims made about people, practices, organisations, and indeed, the nature of knowledge itself.
