ICCE 2006 Workshop - Phenomenongraphy: Conceptions of -Learning in an Interculture ContextDate: 30 November - December 4 2006 Time: 09.00 - 17.00 This workshop will focus on the practice of Phenomenagraphic research, a way of experiencing something. Our aims are to present the various applications of phenomenongraphic study in the field of e-learning and technology enhanced learning (TEL), and demonstrates its overall place in the field. The relevant research will be integrated into this workshop, such as how to examine students/teachers' conception and their experiences of learning/teaching. The main presenters (organisers) come from an ongoing project "eChina~UK", which focuses on conceptions of e-learning and professional development in an inter-culture context. The approach and the method of phenomenongraphic study to examine higher education teachers' understandings and their conceptions and experiences of e-learning both in UK and China will be introduced. Other presenters come from South China Normal University (SCNU) and Hong Kong University and their research is related to the relevant phenomenongraphic research.
