The War on Terrorism and Human Rights - New Venue

Former UK Ambassador to Uzbekistan

As Britain's outspoken Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray exposed human rights abuses by the US-funded regime of Islam Karimov. He is a prominent critic of Western policy in the region. His book, Murder in Samarkand - A British Ambassador's Controversial Defiance of Tyranny in the War on Terror, received world-wide attention when it was published earlier this year.

Due to popular demand the venue has changed to theElizabeth Livingston Lecture Theatre, Bowland North
