Histfest 2007 - Postgraduate History Conference

Date: 12-13 May 2007 Time: To be announced

A postgraduate conference organised for postgraduates by postgraduates. Now in its 12th year, Histfest is a great opportunity to present research and network with students from other universities. Proposals of 250 words are now being accepted for papers between 15 and 20 minutes long. Although the conference has no over-arching theme, we would particularly welcome proposals that fall into one or more of the following categories: gender, conflict and commemoration; boundaries, war and religion; class, nation and community.

The conference will take place in the Department of History, Lancaster University.

The deadline for submission is 6 April 2007.
