STS Mixtures: Women's Talk about Linux

Women's Talk about Linux.

This talk presents empirical evidences of how the establishment of several online women's groups help female free software users and developers to exchange information, support each other and facilitate their connection with the rest of the free software world. Additionally, it also brings the current discussion on women's marginal participation in the free software development to a stage that is beyond merely around numbers and complaints.
