The journey from basic skills learner to published writer

The journey from basic skills learner to published writer Vicky Duckworth, Oldham CollegeThe presentation will be based on the 'journey' of a writer who has recently had her work published as an Easy Read Inspirational story. The process of unlocking creative potential both in and out of the classroom will be explored. This will be set in the context of an overview of what was involved from putting pen to paper to going into print. The seminar will address the empowering nature of autobiography.
