Law School - Work in Progress - 'Crime and Security in Romania'

In addition to the challenges facing post-Communist judiciaries, my research also considers the notion of security in post-totalitarian societies. I am interested in the way in which perceptions prior to Communist rule have had a significant impact on current views on law and order. My present study critically examines key questions relating to state promises of law and order in post-Communist countries, in particular, Romania.
