Lancaster Sociology Summer Conference 2008Date: 7th, 8th and 9th July

Venue:Institute for Advanced Studies,Meeting Rooms 1-4. :~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~: Organised by Lancaster Sociology postgraduates, the summer conference, 7th, 8th and 9th July 2008, is a great opportunity to present your work, collaborate with other PhD and Masters students, participate in practical workshops, and have a lot of fun.You will be able to contribute to innovative 'sociological challenges' involving Andrew Sayer, Elizabeth Shove, John Urry, Tim Dant and others. You are also invited to stay until 9th July for another sociological expedition exploring new aspects of the world-famous Lake District, or remain in Lancaster for various informal workshops on ideas and methods. Come and share your research and enjoy Lancaster Sociology's post-disciplinary atmosphere.
