Centre for Science Studies, Informal Seminar/Workshop on Medicine and its Users: Insights from Science, Technology and Society Studies. Provisional details only - check back for confirmation.
Vololona Rabeharisoa, Ecole de Mines and Centre for Sociologie d'Innovation, Paris. She has been working with Michel Callon on Muscular Dystrophy and its patient organisation. Dr. Rabeharisoa will also speak about the various research projects on going at the Centre, internationally known for work in Science and Technology Studies, Actor-Network Theory, the Body and Medicine. The workshop will also present and discuss the work of two students at Lancaster working in relevant areas.
