This may include issues of space and place in areas such as material culture, visual culture and advertising, commodities and consuming practices, marketing and promotion etc. We would like to encourage participants from a range of disciplines and approaches. A visiting colleague, Beatriz Jaguaribe from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and some other Lancaster staff will participate in the discussion. Convenors: Anne Cronin and Kevin Hetherington. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 27 May, 10.00-17.00 Material Culture Consumption Study Group presents 'Consuming the City' symposium : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Contact: Who can attend: Anyone
