Catherine Mills Talk - Bordering on Politics: Agamben and the Limits of PhilosophyDate: 29 September 2008 Time: 4.00 - 6.00 pm Catherine Mills is Sesqui Lecturer in Bioethics at University of Sydney, Australia. Her research crosses the areas of bioethics, feminist theory and political theory. Much of her published work focuses on the concept of biopolitics, particularly in relation to Foucault and Agamben. She is currently writing a book on biopolitics, reproduction and responsibility, and is also the author of The Philosophy of Agamben, forthcoming with Acumen Press. 29th September 2008, 4-6pm, IAS Meeting Room 1 Contact: Who can attend: Anyone
