LRDG Seminar: Hidden dialogicality: the past and present in Soviet/Russian teacher training text-booksDate: 13 January 2009 Time: 1.00 - 2.00 pm Anna Popova, Centre for Early Childhood Studies, University of Worcester The presentation will outline the process and findings of the documentary analysis of the teacher training textbooks which were published in Russia before and after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The presentation will open a debate about how historical change is represented in official teaching materials which mediate important pedagogic messages to teacher-trainees.
