Sociology Seminar with David Tyfield

Cosmopolitan China? Lessons from International Collaboration in Low-Carbon Innovation.

David Tyfield, Lancaster Sociology

David will be presenting reflections on a paper of the same title, co-authored with John Urry, which will be published in a forthcoming issue of the British Journal of Sociology. This paper arises from the research project 'UK-China Networks of Low Carbon Innovation', which examines low carbon partnerships between the UK and China in order to identify constraints and supports for their success, as well considering their ability to create 'disruptive' innovation.
