Introduction to Second LifeDate: 13 January 2010 Time: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm Venue: Training Suite 1, C floor library
Ever wanted to try the virtual world Second Life? Interested in exploring its potential for teaching, learning or research? Do you fancy a chance to try your hand at playing inworld? Wondering what is going on at Lancaster University Island? Come explore the virtual world in this hands-on induction session run by Michele Ryan, Lancaster University Management School and Julia Gillen, Literacy Research Centre. Training Suite 1, room C135 TR1, C floor Library, January 13th from 11am-12:30pm. No previous experience required. Take a virtual tour of the LU Island and find out what educators are doing.
