History and Visuality Research Symposium

This interdisciplinary symposium will present a wide range of work that engages visual culture in order to make arguments about the past. The essays offer historical studies of film, the built environment and the representation of the modern city in ways that—implicitly or explicitly—further force us to confront the peculiarities of the visual construction of meaning. All are welcome.
