Nigel Hall: Erasable writing technologies: a material historyDate: 4 May 2010 Time: 1.00 - 2.00 pm Venue: Institute for Advanced Studies Meeting Room 1 It is a tribute to the staying power of writing that so much of it still exists in so many forms in museums, libraries and archives. However, a vast amount has been designed out of existence by being created using erasable writing technologies. These have been an intrinsic partners of other writing technologies for thousands of years and clearly have been a very significant elements in people's writing experiences.
