Breath in the MorgueDate: 17 June 2010 Time: 14.00 and 21.00 Venue: Dukes Theatre Being the third play from Tom Markham, Breath in the Morgue seeks to explore the psychology of totalitarianism and happiness, creationary power and engineered subservience, abuse and love of those weaker, and the effects of dreams upon everything. All of this, seen through the eyes of someone the Nazis would have classified as 'asocial' due to his mental condition. It is a dark piece with moments of twisted humour. The production is minimalist with very little set and few props, relying instead on lighting, projection and the performers to create the bleak world in which the play is set.
