Public health, equity and interventions

The workshop will raise a number of topics relevant to equity in public health interventions and policies. There will be a particular focus on issues relating to children and health, as part our work on the IDEFICS project on childhood obesity (www.idefics.eu). Speakers:

  • Jennie Popay (Lancaster University)"Challenges in Evaluating the Health Equity impact of area based Interventions - the case of The New Deal for Communities Regeneration initiative"
