"Decadent Spaces: The Museum and Archive for Foucault and Benjamin"

This paper will explore the commonalities and differences that Foucault and Benjamin have towards spaces of the archive (notably the museum).

Addressing this question allows us to reflect upon the issuesof time and history as well asdiscourse and visionthat they bring into operation and to consider alternatives that might allow us to re-imagine the apparatus of the museum within society.
