Writing External Funding Applications seminar series, 'Applying to Charities for funding' and 'Impact'

Date: 25 May 2011 Time: 2.30 pm

Venue: Meeting room 1, FASS building

The first part of this seminar will enable participants to identify funding bodies who will fund their research activities and for which they are eligible, specifically targeting large charities, e.g. the Leverhulme Trust and the British Academy. It will cover the funders' research priorities, application procedures and eligible costs.

The second part willexplain what Impact is and how it can be demonstrated within your bid. Examples of impact summaries and statements from previously successful bids will be available to participants.
