Leo van Lier Research Workshop

Workshop title: The study of classroom interaction as a key to pedagogical understandings.

Leo is Professor at the Monterey Institute for International Studies, Editor of Modern Language Journal, and a distinguished alumnus of the Department of Linguistics and English Language. He is well known for his pioneering work in the use of socio-cultural theory and conversation analysis for the study and development of language teaching.

Time & place: 10-12.00 pm, Bowland North Seminar Room 6
