Postpolitcs and Public ParticipationDate: 11 November 2011 Time: 10.30 - 15.30 Venue: Bowland North Workshop II: Postpolitcs and Public Participation. This is the second workshop of two that are taking place as part of the AHRC-funded study "Producing and performing 'communities': looking at the paradox of public participation and de-politicisation". The first workshop took place on the 7th of July, 2011. We will be reporting back the results of this three month scoping study that aimed to review the latest theory and literature on post-politics, STS and public participtionto the AHRC in November 2011. As part of the AHRC project "Producing and performing 'communities': looking at the paradox of public participation and de-politicisation" we are creating a network of those interested in exploring political theory and STS literatures and experiences in issues of public participation.
