Screening of Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' - Bruce Bennett

Date: 9 May 2012 Time: 20.00 pm

Venue: Dukes cinema, Lancaster

Dr Bruce Bennett (Film Studies/LICA) will be introducing Stanley Kubrick's 1968 science fiction epic, 2001: A Space Odyssey, at the Dukes cinema in Lancaster on May 9th. The Dukes will be showing a digital copy of a recent restoration of the film and, given that the Kubrick family usually refuses permission for the film to be screened in cinemas, this is a very rare opportunity to see the film in its full, expansive glory on the big screen.
