"how to apply for MA and PhD funding"

Imogen Tyler (Doctoral Director Sociology) and Rachel Verrall (Postgraduate Administrator Sociology) will be running a workshop on"how to apply for MA and PhD funding"on November 29th 3pm-5pm in Bowland North Seminar Room 11.This workshop is aimed at UG and MA students thinking of applying for funding in the areas of sociology, media and cultural studies, gender and women's studies, science and technology studies and/or social studies of the environment, social anthropology andis aimed at Uk and EU students who are eligible for funding from the ESRC, however anybody in FASS who is interested can come along.You need to book a place to attend-- see Rachel Verrall in person in Bowland North B143 to book a place. There are twenty places available on this workshop (due to the size of the room).
