Undergraduate Admissions Open Day

Date: 20 February 2013 Time: 14:00-17:15

Venue: Cavendish Lecture Theatre

The Department of Linguistics and English Language will be holding an Open Day for UCAS applicants holding offers from the department, and for their parents or other people coming with them. The day will include

introductions by the Head of Department, Elena Semino, and Admissions Tutor, Greg Myers
information about careers
mini-lectures to give you an idea what classes here are like
a presentation by students from the Linguistics and English Language Society
a session for parents and others on financial matters
a tour of the campus
and a reception where tutors and students can answer your questions.

There are two other dates on offer (20 February and 9 March) but if you can't make any of them, contact Louise Williams (l.williams5@lancs.ac.uk) to arrange a visit on another day.
