Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Sixth Form Conference

Date: 5 July 2013 Time: 9.30am - 3.30pm

On Friday 5th July, the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) will be holding a Sixth-Form Conference (at Lancaster University). This event is a good opportunity for students in the lower-sixth form who are undecided on which university to apply for, to spend half the day hearing sample lectures in English Language and Linguistics, and the other half hearing about English Literature, Law, Media and Film, European Languages, or a number of other courses.

10.30 - 12.00 Academic Session 1 (Students break to attend an elected academic session somewhere on campus)

12.00 - 13.00 Lunch, FASS subject stands, meet graduate employers LICA Building

13.00 - 14.30 Academic Session 2 (Students break to attend a different elected academic session somewhere on campus)

14.30 - 14.45 Refreshment Break LICA Building

14.45 - 15.30 Student Q & A (panel session with current students, FASS alumni) LICA Building
