Current Teaching
Research Interests
Dr. Ealham's research to date has focussed on the social, political and cultural dimensions of the four decades of crisis that preceded the Spanish civil war and the revolution of 1936-7. He is especially interested in left-wing and revolutionary movements, particularly Spain's mass anarchist and anarcho-syndicalist movements. He is also interested in the way that space and memory affect social protest. He is currently working on a social history of Spanish migrants in the United States of America, c.1855-1945.
