Karenza to speak at the 'Affective Fabrics of Digital Cultures' conference in ManchesterDate: 3 June 2010 Karenza Moore will present at the 'Affective Fabrics of Digital Cultures' conference at the University of Manchester, UK, 3-4th June 2010. Karenza's paper, titled 'Digital Affect and Clubbing Cultures: Reflection, anticipation, counter-reaction' will focus on the role of embodied emotions in clubbing cultures as illicit drug-using cultures and whether it can be argued that the concept of 'digital affect' can help us understand the production of emotional narratives by clubbers through their use of both mobiles and the internet.
