Surprise Event: Festschrift for Ruth Wodak

Date: 28 September 2010

In a surprise event, organised by the Linguistic Department of Vienna and sponsored also by LAEL, Ruth was presented with a Festschrift on 28th September, at the University of Vienna, to honour her 60th birthday. The book contains 44 contributions from more than 50 scholars.

Speakers were the Vice-Rector, Heinz Engl, the Dean, Franz Roemer, Professor emer. Wolfgang Dressler, and Professor emer. Teun van Dijk.

The book was published in September 2010: Diskurs, Politik Identitat - Discourse, Politics, Identity, edited by R. de Cillia, H. Gruber, M. Krzyzanowski, and F. Menz, Stauffenburg Verlag.
