Kevin Watson & Lynn Clark give invited talk at University of YorkDate: 1 November 2010 Kevin Watson and Lynn Clark gavea guest lectureat the University of York. The talk was called 'Sociolinguistic and cognitive linguistic approaches to northern English t-to-r', and the focus wasthe phenomenon in which /t/ can be pronounced as [r] (e.g. 'gerrof', 'shurrup') in certain northern English dialects.
