Kevin Watson & Lynn Clark run workshop for A Level students at Stockport College

Kevin Watson and Lynn Clark ran a workshop for A Level English Language students at Stockport College. The workshop was about accent variation in the north west of England, covering issues to do with prestige, phonological change, and the representation of accent in literature. The workshop also involved some preliminary results of Kevin and Lynn's current research project, funded by the ESRC.
