CSEC's research is highlighted in BBC news

Claire Waterton (CSEC,Department of Sociology)has been working with Judith Tsouvalis ( CSEC, Sociology), Lisa Norton and Stepehn Maberly(Centre for Hydrology and Ecology,CEH) Nigel Watson (Geography), Ken Bell, a local Cumbrianfarmer, and the community in Loweswater, North Cumbria to create a new forum through which to discuss and act upon local environmental problems. This new forum, called the Loweswater Care Project,features in the following piece fromBBC local news. The 'sociologists' refered to are the above (Claire and Judith), from Lancaster University's Centre for the Study of Environmental Change, within the Sociology Department!
