Invited Presentation of Project, New Dehli

Date: 21 February 2011

Prof Ian Clarke gave two lectures 21/22 February 2011, on behalf of Dr. WinstonKwon (LUMS), Prof. Ruth Wodak (LAEL), and himself,to about 40 senior executives, and to executives of the Reserve Bank of India (equivalent to the Bank of England) (about 30 of them), by invitation. This is an example for the wide impact that our research on discourse /communication in organizations is able to achieve.

Clarke, I., Wodak, R., and Kwon, W. (2011, 21-22nd February), 'Leveraging Your Human Capital: Managing better outcomes from meetings, discussions and conversations'. Invited presentation of AIM Research Project to corporate HRDs (21st February 2011) and Reserve Bank of India executives (22nd February 2011), New Delhi, India.

These presentations summarise our interdisciplinary research since 2008 which has lead to two journal papers to date (2009 Discourse and Communication; 2011 Discourse & Society) and two more papers, submitted to journals in the Management field.
