Edinburgh International Science FestivalDate: 20 April 2011 Professor David Archard will be a principal speaker at the "From Healthy Embryos to Designer Babies: How Far is Too Far" event. This is organised by Gengage /ESRC Genomics Policy & Research Forum and will be a part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival. Professor Archard will be speaking on the question of who should have access to Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), and will be doing so both as a moral philosopher and as Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority's Licence Committee.
