Linguistics ranked 1st in the UK in The Complete University Guide 2012

We are delighted to see that the department came out top of all Linguistics Departments in the UK in the 2012 Complete University Guide.

We are particularly pleased because this particular table gives special weight to student satisfaction (we got 100% satisfaction on the National Student Survey last year) and to student employment when they graduate. Those two factors matter a great deal to prospective students and to us as teachers.
