Posthumous BAFTA for English and Creative Writing Alumnus

At the 2012 BAFTA awards ceremony a posthumous award was given to Bridget O'Connor, who graduated from Lancaster with a BA in English and Creative Writing in 1982. Bridget co-wrote the screenplay of the film 'Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy', but died in 2010 before it was filmed.
