Sleep Symposium at Uppsala University

Date: 2 March 2012

Drs Hilary Hinds and Michael Greaney will be speaking at a one-day symposium, 'To Sleep...' on 5th March 2012 at Uppsala University, Sweden.

Both members of the Department are currently working on different aspects of literature/culture and sleep, with Dr Greaney giving a paper entitled 'Dickens and the Comedy of Sleep' and Dr Hinds, who is researching twin beds for a Wellcome Trust-fuinded research project, will be giving a paper called 'Together and Apart: Twin Beds and Nineteenth-Century Sleep Hygiene'.
