Creative Writing Alumnus Publishes First Novel

Richard Mason, a graduate of the Lancaster Writing Programme at the Department for English and Creative Writing, is to publish his first novel.

Branthwaite's Lot is a powerful story of love and tragedy amidst the harsh realities of farming life in the north-west of England during the Second World War. It will be available from 8 November, published by Marius Press.
