Faculty funding opportunities for postgraduate research students

Lancaster University's internationally renowned Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences offers postgraduate students the opportunity to undertake research in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment and to benefit from extensive, customized research-training programmes. All full-time campus-based postgraduate research students are provided with shared office facilities and a lap-top for their own personal use. We are delighted to be able to offer the following postgraduate funding opportunities to outstanding candidates applying to us for postgraduate research programmes in 2006-07:

1. Postgraduate research studentships of £10,000 p.a. for three years to cover fees and maintenance to UK/ EU students

2. Alumni bursaries of £1,000 p.a. for three years to outstanding applicants either holding or currently be studying for, a Masters' level qualification from Lancaster University
