Official Launch of Institute for Advanced Studies

Date: 29 November 2005

The Institute was officially opened on 29th November 2005 by the Chair of the Economic and Social Research Council, Frances Cairncross CBE. The Institute's first Annual Research Programme - on the Knowledge-Based economy - which spans the academic year 2005/06 began in October 2005 and will end in August 2006.
