We're pleased to announce that the following students have recently gained funding to undertake PhD work in Philosophy at Lancaster.

Jenny Svensson has also been awarded AHRC funding for her PhD and will be starting work on Hegel and feminism in October. She will be supervised by Alison Stone.

Meredith Wilkinson has ESRC funding for an interdisciplinary PhD which will be supervised between psychology and philosophy. She will be working to find empirical means of determining whether folk psychology relies on simulation. In philosophy, she will be supervised by Rachel Cooper.

Andrew Divers has also been awarded ESRC funding for interdisciplinary research. In 2007-8 he will pursue a preparatory Masters course, and then he will go on to complete a PhD on genetics and crime that will be supervised between philosophy and politics.
