Farewell to Sefton Bloxham
After an association of some 27 years, Mr Sefton Bloxham finally said "goodbye" to Lancaster University Law School on 20 October, having taken up an appointment as a lecturer at the new University of Cumbria. Sefton will be teaching law at the Carlisle Campus, formerly a part of UCLAN, and before that, of Northumbria.
Mr Bloxham was well-known in the law pedagogy community as an innovator and an advocate of new methods of teaching and learning law, and no doubt his post at Cumbria will present both new challenges and give great scope for applying the insights gained from his many years of research in teaching and learning of law. The Law School wishes him well in his new post.
