CETL Prize for Excellence in LearningDate: 30 October 2007 Stuart Nicholls has just received his MSc in Applied Social Statistics and the CETL Prize for Excellence in Learning. This year for the first time The Postgraduate Statistics Centre is awarding prizes for excellence in learning to those statistics PG students demonstrating all round achievement in class contributions, coursework, exams and projects. All the winning students will receive a £100 book token for their hard work. Stuart has a 1+3 ESRC award and is now beginning his PhD research on newborn screening jointly supervised by philosophy and applied statistics.
