Japanese Social Work and Disability Academics visit Department of Applied Social Science

Professor Kondo and Naoko Kawaguchi with Acting Head of Department Ian Paylor

Professor Kondo and Ms Naoko Kawaguchi from Mihon Fukushi University in Japan and UK-based Mihon Fukushi graduate Ms.Yajima paid a two day visit to the Department of Applied Social Science to discuss social work education and disability studies. They met with senior members of the department, social work lecturers, the practice learning team and members of the Centre for Disability Research (CeDR).
