Japanese translation of influential 'Social Work with Disabled People'

Naoko Kawaguchi and Bob Sapey

Naoko Kawaguchi, who recently visited the Department of Applied Social Science and the Centre for Disability Research (CeDR) is producing a japanese translation of Social Work with Disabled People co-authored by Bob Sapey.

Social Work with Disabled People was originally published by Professor Mike Oliver in 1993. Now in its third addition and co-authored by Bob Sapey the book has been highly influential in Disability Studies and social work education and practice.
