Qualitative Research Network: Midterm Conference (ESA)

Date: 14 September 2008

Ruth who is a member of the board of the Qualitative Research Network in the European Sociological Association will take part at the midterm conference in Lodz, Poland, from 14-17 September 2008(see http://www.soc-org.edu.pl/Conference2008/welcome.php).

Ruth will give a paper on 14 September on 'Dilemmas of Discourse Analysis' focussing on various problems when teaching Discourse Analysis to PhD students in the Social Sciences.

17 September 2008, Michal Krzyzanowski and Ruth Wodak will present their new book (2008, Qualitative Discourse Analysis in the Social Sciences, Palgrave) in a 'Meet the authors' session at this conference.
