Lectures in China

Date: May 2009

In the period 7th-27th of May I visted China, Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai and Hangzou. Idelivered 12 lectures on various apsects of language Typology and its connection to both English and Sinitic langauges at: the Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Tsing Hua University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Xi'an Foreign Studies University. I also had talks with representatives of the Language and Linguistics department at Shanghai Jiatong University about research links between their department and LAEL.
