Jane Demmen has been been awarded the University's Chancellor's medal

Jane Demmen

Jane Demmen (BA Hons. Lancaster University, MA in English Language, Lancaster University) has been awarded the University's Chancellor's medal.

Jane Demmen is an academic trailblazer. Having achieved a strong first-class degree in our department, she immediately commenced the MA in English Language (by research), focussing on the language of Shakespeare. She completed this MA last year, producing a dissertation of such high quality that she was awarded the University's Chancellor's medal.

She has now embarked on a PhD, having secured the award of a grant from the AHRC.
