Jane Demmen has been been awarded the University's Chancellor's medal
Date: 1 February 2010 Jane Demmen (BA Hons. Lancaster University, MA in English Language, Lancaster University) has been awarded the University's Chancellor's medal. Jane Demmen is an academic trailblazer. Having achieved a strong first-class degree in our department, she immediately commenced the MA in English Language (by research), focussing on the language of Shakespeare. She completed this MA last year, producing a dissertation of such high quality that she was awarded the University's Chancellor's medal. She has now embarked on a PhD, having secured the award of a grant from the AHRC.
