LEAL Soceity - Guest Lecture by Dr. John Olsson

The Linguistics and English Language Society will be hosting a guest lecture by Dr. John Olsson on Forensic Linguistics. He will be covering what Forensic Linguistics is and offering an introductory insight into language in the law, giving language asevidencein court and a brief focus on legal discourse. With an LLB Hons degree and an MA and PHD in Linguistics, John Olsson is sure todelivera very informative and interesting talk on adeveloping and exciting area of Applied Linguistics.

The lecture will be held on Thursday 8th November at 6pm in Cavendish LT and we will ensure to leave time for questions at the end.
